Willow, the quantum AI algorithm specialist that will kill Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies

WITH THE APPEARANCE OF WILLOW, GOOGLE’S QUANTUM ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE SPECIALIZED IN MATHEMATICAL ALGORITHMS, THE INVULNERABILITY OF THE BITCOIN BLOCKCHAIN AND CRYPTOCURRENCIES IS OVER.

Author, Jorge Auristondo Vilches.

Willow is a quantum chip that specializes in solving algorithms developed by Google Quantum AI. This chip represents the latest generation of advances in quantum computing, specifically designed to improve error correction in quantum computations. Its goal is to take a step towards the creation of a large-scale quantum computer, capable of solving problems that would be impossible for today’s classical computers, even the most advanced supercomputers.

Google introduced Willow as a successor to its previous chip, Sycamore, which achieved quantum supremacy in 2019. With more qubits and the ability to handle interference (noise), Willow reinforces Google’s efforts to push the limits of traditional computing.

WILLOW AND BITCOIN

Google is starting to go public in Artificial Intelligence and quantum chips, because it already has a piece of business that the investor did not expect: it is Willow, a quantum component, a chip and a quantum breakthrough with supercomputers that allows the resolution of large mathematical problems.

Willow is going to be able to solve complex mathematical problems like bitcoin and cryptocurrency blockchain algorithms in as little as 5 minutes; that means that the value of cryptocurrencies can drop to zero. That means that Google with Willow can crack the algorithm behind the bitcoin protection system and set the value of cryptocurrencies to zero.
