Scotland and private enterprise create civilisation. The Scottish government and private construction companies build 3,000 houses for low- and middle-income citizens at a priceat £1000 each.

The project being built on the grounds of a former airport in the capital Edinburgh has been defined by private enterprise as «a perfect blend of life, work, learning and nature».

The work is being built on land of a former airport west of the capital Edinburgh is run by the construction company Crosswind Developments which oversees the construction of the 3,005 apartments and 50,000 square meters of commercial space, including 5,300 square meters of commercial, restaurant and leisure space, in a combination of apartments and townhouses of one, two and three bedrooms, an elementary school with provision of early childhood education, open spaces and landscaping, and approximately 1,000 parking spaces.

The Scottish government as the builders have defined the project as «the perfect combination of life, work, learning and nature.».
