To state that «the corrupt hate Sigmund Freud» is not necessarily a universally accepted idea. There will be corrupt people who will never know Freud and therefore will not be able to hate him. However, we can analyze some possible reasons why the corrupt hate Freud:

1. Exposure of Unconscious Motivations: Freud is known for his Theory of Psychoanalysis, which includes exploring the unconscious motivations behind human behavior. The corrupt may feel threatened by the idea that their actions are not simply the result of conscious, rational decisions, but are influenced by unconscious desires and traumas. Exposure of these aspects could undermine their attempts to justify their actions.

2. Psychoanalysis as a Tool for Self-knowledge and Introspection: Freud promoted «self-knowledge» and «introspection». Corrupt people may fear that a higher level of self-knowledge in society could lead to greater awareness and rejection of corruption, as well as a greater demand for transparency and ethics.

3. Development of Ethics and Morality: Freud also explored the development of ethics and morality in the individual, concepts that clash with corrupt behavior. The corrupt may resent the influence of ideas that promote integrity and ethical behavior.

4. Challenge to Authority and Status Quo: Freud’s theories often challenge established social norms and structures. Those in positions of power who benefit from corruption may see his ideas as a threat to their authority and the status quo they maintain.

In short, Psychoanalytic Theory explains corrupt behavior and brings it into the public eye. Here are some possible reasons why individuals involved in corruption might have an aversion to the ideas of Sigmund Freud and Psychoanalysis.
